Denver is manicured with an impressive number of lakes and parks. Amidst it all, it is also home to an impressive botanical garden in the middle of the city and an expansive wildlife refuge right before the airport.

We were all so surprised by this expansive refuge right inside the city of Denver. While we didn’t see as many animals as this podcast (amazingly done, by the way) boasts, we did catch a glimpse of a herd of bisons acres away, a couple of deer, and lots and lots of prairie dogs.
