Earlier this year, Goku planned a weekend at Heavenly in Lake Tahoe for some R&R, skiing, and a surprise proposal for Amanda. He located a gorgeous spot at the top of Heavenly that overlooks Lake Tahoe on a clear day. After dealing with finicky weather all weekend, the perfect window of opportunity opened up just hours before we had to leave.
While everyone was snowboarding and prepping for the surprise, Lauren graciously accompanied me to Harrah’s spa since I had a back injury. Though we weren’t able to witness the proposal, the 6 hour spa date was an A+ idea that turned first time Lauren into a forever spa lover. So credits to Nathan for capturing the beautiful shots below! We can say it was a 50/50 project, but maybe 80/20 with my post-processing efforts.
